Our cast for the show is:

Claudine Bennent

Claudine is a performer, theatre maker and teacher.

She received her BA Theatre and Performance from the University of Cape Town in 2005, and has worked with numerous theatre, film and television companies in South Africa, Japan and the UK.

Claudine relocated to Sheffield in 2013, following four years in Sendai, Japan.  Her most resent projects include The Local (Edinburgh Fringe 2017, The Rutland Arms 2016), The Vagina Monologues (SheFest  Theatre Delicatessen 2017) and Foolish Mortals (Lantern Theatre 2016).

Stan Skinny

Stan Skinny is an award winning poet, comedian, and actor.

He has written and toured four solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe including Tesco Chain Store Massacre, Cyrano and the recent Captain ‘The Butcher’ Reality, which also won the Great Yorkshire Show Off competition.

He has trained in improv, clowning and physical comedy with Richard Wright, Gerry Flanegan and Mick Barnfather

As an actor his most recent roles include Moss in Glengarry Glen Ross (Lantern Theatre 2016) and Sam in A Few Good Men (Lantern Theatre 2017). He’s also part of Digging Holes theatre company – the leading street theatre company in mid-Wales.

Melanie Crawley

Melanie is an actor, theatre-maker, designer and voiceover artist.

Her recent work includes appearing as Joan for Tesco’s Food Love Stories campaign, an appearance in ITV’s Coronation Street (Court Clerk, speaking role) as Blodwyn in Peter Huntley’s Dylan and Blod Talk about Dai for Cornucopia Radio, EJ Spicer in Sarah Cassidy’s Breakdown Recovery and as Margaret in the film Middle of Nowhere

Her theatre credits include: Betty, Changes, Lowry Theatre directed by Sue Jenkins, Betty, In a Forest, Dark and Deep, Stuffed Horse, Salford Arts Theatre; Shelley Levene, Glengarry Glen Ross; Lubov Ranyavskaya, The Cherry Orchard; Rosemary/Bernice/Emma Pearce/Doreen, Confusions; Flora, A Slight Ache; Miss Pole, Cranford at Christmas and The Porter / Siward, Macbeth all at Lantern Theatre, Sheffield and The Sheffield Mysteries, Sheffield Theatres, Crucible Theatre, Sheffield.
